RORY PANTOPHLET IS BACK WITH THE LIONS
Rory Leandro Kitwana Pantophlet is ready for a fresh start with Fyllingen Lions for the 2026/27 season.
The 2.08 m forward from Philipsburg, Sint Maarten joined the Lions last season, but a season-ending injury in training meant he never got the opportunity to show what he could do on the court.
Despite the setback, Rory became an important part of the Lions family – and along the way, he also fell in love with Bergen. Now, after working hard through his rehab, he is ready for a new season and a new opportunity in a Lions jersey.
Coach Calix on Rory:
“Rory’s journey with us last season was very different from what any of us had hoped for. A season-ending injury meant he wasn’t able to play a single game, but his impact on our club went far beyond what happens on the court.
Rory is an incredible role model and mentor for our younger players, and the positive energy and work he brings to the club every day made it an easy decision for us to keep him with the team throughout the entire season.
He has attacked his rehab with the same commitment and professionalism he brings to everything else, and hopefully this season we’ll finally get to see Rory make an impact on the court as well as off it.
We’re looking forward to having you back out there, Rory!”
New season. Fresh start. Welcome back, Rory!
